Who: Marley and Elijah
When: Early Afternoon
Where: Elijah's Bungalow
What: Marley forces Elijah to deal with her as a house guest
"You should probably stay here!" Someone yelled after Marley when she fled from the Market. That was sometime before noon she would guess before the winds were as fierce as they were now. As she progressed towards her house, the winds grew more intense and the empath felt like she was pushing against an invisible wall. To make things worse, she wasn't properly dressed. With only a sweater on and jeans with tears in them, Marley felt like she was freezing to death. Her hands were unprotected by gloves and her lips felt pained every time she licked them. Her nose was burning and her sight was clouded by her hair flapping in the wind. "Great..fucking great." She stated through shivered breaths. "I'm going to freeze to death and turn into a snow woman." There wasn't much snow, the only snow that was whirling around was the snow that had fallen early in the morning, even perhaps at night.
Marley lost where she was going. She was too busy trying not to fall on her ass. She was a very thin girl and she stumbled a few times. Since she was pissed and frustrated and just about everything and anything but calm, it ruined a good sense of direction for her.
"You know, fuck this."
Desperate times called for desperate measures. Marley knew she was far from home when the houses she was walking towards looked nothing like the residential area she was used to. Her easy guess was the lovely Bungalows. One of these Bungalow owners was going to be nice enough to let her in to relax. If not, she was going to A-break in or B-well who would say no to someone freezing half to death?
She made it to a random Bungalow and knocked. Not once, not twice, but
three times. Marley was loud about it too. No answer. Oh, it figured. The empath would have considered the reasonable option of trying another home, but when another rush of wind came in she thought
hell no and was pleasantly surprised to find the door open.
The empath snuck in side and hissed when she felt the difference in temperature. The first thing that burnt were her hands and she shook them as if it would remedy the irritation before blowing on them and pressing them together. "Not a bad place I guess." She whispered.
When she heard footsteps, she panicked. There was no way in hell she was going back out in the doom storm so she just tip toed behind a wall and tried to figure out what to do next. It wasn't like she could attack the person. It was
their home. Plus, she had already tried to beat up someone and failed miserably.
